Supported by TECNO, one of the world's leading smartphone brands and the official smartphone partner, the McDonald’s Tempest Cup is set to create a thrilling experience for participants across Metro Manila, Cebu City, Davao City, and more. Multiple teams across the Philippines have already registered to compete, vying for a share of a prize pool worth over half a million pesos, as well as exclusive McDonald's gift certificates. This competition is a golden opportunity for both amateur players and seasoned professionals to test their skills in a dynamic environment.

Inspiring players of all ages and backgrounds, Honor of Kings has been progressively offering new and novel opportunities for players to go pro and has launched initiatives such as the Honor of Kings Championship, which will take place this October, to support young esports talent.

The McDonald’s Tempest Cup is designed to welcome all players from the community, whether an amateur player dreaming of going pro or a seasoned professional looking to hone skills in the local tournaments.

"Our vision for this grassroots tournament is to unite communities in an inclusive competition, offering valuable experience to both amateur and professional teams. With partners like McDonald's, we aim to drive the industry forward and nurture the next generation of star players." Neri added.

The McDonalds Tempest Cup will be held in several locations, starting September 8 until October 5, culminating in an offline final.

  • Metro Manila/NCR: Pasig (Frontera Verde), Quezon City (951 QA Ligaya), Pasay (505 Bluebay), Makati (230 PRC)
  • North + Central Luzon: Baguio City (611 New Baguio Session FS), Angeles City (Angeles Intersection)
  • South Luzon: Rizal (Antipolo - 952 E. Rodriguez), Batangas (Lipa - Lipa Ayala)
  • Visayas: Cebu City (756 Paseo Arcenas), Iloilo City (525 Iloilo Business Park)
  • Mindanao: Misamis Oriental (Cagayan de Oro - 833 Uptown CDO), Davao City (560 Matina Crossing)
